Orion Nebula is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth and is also one of the brightest nebulae. Visible to the naked eye, spreading over four times the area of the full moon. The Great Nebula in Orion is situated in the Milky Way, just south of Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion.
